About Product
Dense phase pneumatic conveying systems is essentially a conveying process to transfers the material with high pressure at low velocity and high product to air ratio. Dense phase pneumatic conveying is a suitable process for conveying of friable or abrasive material in batch or plugs, batch, suspended flow at low velocity and high pressure.
- As velocity is low and pressure being the prime conveying element, it can handle variety of material ranging from fragile, abrasive, friable, agglomerated to material with high bulk densities.
- Dense Phase conveying systems can transport abrasive materials with comparatively less wear and tear of the system and product as well.
- It can convey bulk solids from single or multiple locations to single or multiple points at long distances causing low material degradation with high material loading ratio.
- We also offer Pulverized Coal Injection (PCI) systems for mini blast furnaces in compact designs.
- Our solutions can be customized to suit the need of process and industrial applications. With an experience of over 45+ years RIECO has gained the reputation of one of the leading Dense Phase Pneumatic Conveying manufacturers
- We have various dense phase pneumatic conveying systems installations in India and overseas across various applications and industries.
- Minimal material degradation as the material is transported at low velocity
- Handles wide variety of material such as fragile, abrasive and friable as well as materials with high bulk densities efficiently
- Minimum wear and tear of the system thus providing longer life to the system
- Minimum Maintenance
- No material spillage, no dust emission, clean environment
- Low Noise operation
- Low air flow rate
- Compared to Mechanical conveying long distance transportation is very added advantage in dense phase conveying. Conveying upto 500 mtrs are widely considered.

Initially, the material is fed into pressure vessel from silo or hopper by gravity or any other feeding method. The vent butterfly valve opens and vent out the air from transporter vessel while the dome valve opens and simultaneously fills material into vessel until the level switch indicates high signal. Once the PLC receives the signal high, the dome valve closes and so does vent butterfly valve. Once closed, the PLC sends signal to solenoid valve, it opens and sends pressurised air into the pressure vessel. The material starts conveying simultaneously until the PLC receives signal low. The solenoid valve is closed,
vent butterfly valve opens and cycle continues.
