About The Role:
As a sales Manager, you will play a key role in driving sales growth. This position requires a dynamic individual with a proven track record in sales, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the industrial equipment industry. You will lead a team of sales professionals, develop strategic initiatives, and cultivate strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to achieve revenue targets and ensure customer satisfaction.

Roles and Activities:

  • Develop continuous business for thermal/biofuel/WTE plants of various capacities, so as, to become lead supplier in domestic and export business.
  • To lead team of engineers for prompt and constructive techno-commercial proposals to customers.
  • Coordinate and expedite internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless building of sales, proposal and orders conversion.
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders including consultants.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs.
  • Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements.
  • Proven ability to complete sales and transactions according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.

Skills & proficiencies:

  • Detailed knowledge on plant process, statutory regulations and requirements.
  • Established contacts and worked for various Standalone/Cogen plants.
  • Commercial and Contractual obligations related aspects.
  • Developing and Tracking of various trade forums, exhibitions, liasioning agencies.
  • Complete Sales Cycle Management and Process Improvements
  • Strong Written and Verbal Communication.
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively.
  • SAP working knowledge.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven working experience in Business Development and Sales of plants
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills with written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience is advantage. Multi discipline knowledge will be advantage. MBA is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong familiarity with Sales management software tools, methodologies, and best practice
  • Experience seeing Sales through the full life cycle
  • Hands-on experience on commercial details, payment terms, contractual obligations, EXIM policies etc.
  • International Sales and Business Development will be advantage.
