Senior Manager/ Sr. Manager – Controls Instrumentation and Electrical

• BE / BTech / M Tech/ ME in Electronics with 10-20 years of experience

• Provide supervision and guidance to the Controls, Instrumentation and Electrical (CIE) teams to ensure seamless delivery on customer projects.

• Drive the growth of the CIE team to become a differentiator for Rieco. This would be both by appropriate external hiring as well as training and mentoring of the existing teams on technology, and performance aspects.
• Organize and coordinate operations and allocation of people related to their department in ways that ensure maximum productivity while maintaining the balance among team members’ load.
• Performance management of team members to improve efficiency and effectiveness and a goal-oriented approach. Counselling, mentoring, and managing employee grievances as needed.
• Maintain relationships with partners/vendors/suppliers and explore new partners and vendors for providing a differentiator to Rieco in the CIE space.
• Liaise with the industry vertical and business unit heads to understand the upcoming needs and priorities for projects and ensure readiness. 
• Support the industry vertical heads and sales teams in interface with the customer to provide confidence in our CIE capability in pre-Sales. Similarly, during the project implementation and resolving any customer concerns.
• Support the New Product Development team on aspects related to CIE.
• Ensure adherence of the team to legal rules and guidelines, and compliance to appropriate standards in CIE.

• Support the Head of Controls, Instrumentation and Electrical in the following areas:
  • Design and implementation of business plans and evolving technology strategy, especially related to IoT, Industry 4.0, Artificial intelligence in Rico equipment etc.
  • Improve and set up new processes for accurate estimation and budgeting of controls and instrumentation components in bids. Monitor and control the actual spend during implementation.
  • Improve and set up new processes for ensuring compliance to customer requirements, quality and timeliness of project deliverables, and timely resolution of customer concerns.

Skills Required:  

• Self-driven manager with solid experience in guiding and motivating controls and instrumentation teams, ability to multi-task, and appreciate business point of view.
• Experience in interfacing with customers and understanding their needs, ability to inspire confidence and lead problem resolution with a positive attitude.
• Strong technical skills and solid experience in various aspects of controls and instrumentation projects from planning and design to implementation and commissioning. Thorough understanding of various controls and instrumentation components like PLCs, SCADA, DCS, Drives, Control Panels, sensors and actuators, field buses, P&IDs and MCC and switchgear.
• Must have experience in the implementation of projects in multiple industry verticals from food and spices, pharma and chemicals, paints, oil and gas, steel, power and renewables (at least 2-3 of them) and understands the decision factors and concerns of different industries.
